Gadbrook Park – The Hut Expands Again

11 November 2016

Fifield Glyn acting on behalf of Private Clients have sold a 999 year Leasehold Interest in Davidson House on Gadbrook Park to The Hut Group for just over £2 million. The building extends to 11,000 sf with approx. 60 car spaces.  Richard Smith of Fifield Glyn commented “This is the fourth deal I have done with The Hut Group on Gadbrook Park in just over 12 months and I have now been instructed by our Vendor Client to reinvest the £2 million in another property in the North West”.

Emma Thompson, a Promar Farm Consultant and Regional Manager along with James Dunn, Managing Director of Promar International will discuss the possible implications to the UK Dairy Sector under Brexit.

Suzanne Preston, Agricultural Partner at Howard Worth Accountants and Business Advisers.  Suzanne specialises in pro-active tax planning for farmers, landowners and diversified businesses,  she will discuss the possible implications on Agricultural tax following Brexit.

Peter Lewis, Property Auctioneer and Valuer at Wright Marshall will provide an overview of land values and discuss the possible implications following Brexit.

Howard Worth expand with merger

We are delighted to announce that as we continue our plans to develop the practice, we have merged with local firm Dawlay & Co based in Middlewich.

Dawlay & Co’s Director Peter Layfield will join the practice along with his employee James Blackburn, they will both be based at our Northwich office.

Tax relief – can your clients claim seminar Wednesday 26th October 2016 8.00am to 9.30am

Knutsford to Northwich

9 September 2016

Designworks-etc are moving from Knutsford to Theatre Court in Northwich where they have taken 1,100 sf office with 2 car spaces on a 3 year FRI Lease.

The rent equates to £11.50 psf plus £350 per car space. Fifield Glyn and Cushman & Wakefield represented the Landlord, Theatre Court Limited.

Another Hatrick on Gadbrook Park, Northwich, Cheshire

Fifield Glyn have recently completed three major deals on Gadbrook Park. Firstly, letting 12,000 sf in Chelford House to The Hut Group on behalf of Hurstwood at a rent £175,000 pa.

Secondly, again on behalf of Hurstwood, Fifield Glyn advised on the purchase of Greystone House let to Network Services (Nationwide) Limited at a rent £115,000 pa. Purchased through Alsop’s at £950,000.  The building extends to about 10,000 sf and is let for 15 years from August 2015.

Thirdly, on behalf of MCR, negotiated the sale of Brunel Court to Osborne House for £730,000 to comprise the Long Leasehold interest of the entire with the benefit of ground rents, car parking income and two vacant refurbished office buildings.

Richard Smith at Fifield Glyn, who negotiated all three transactions, commented “These deals show the continuing strong demand on Gadbrook Park from both occupiers and investors.  We will shortly be offering the two vacant office buildings on Brunel Court and there is further land available on Gadbrook Park for Design & Build packages.”

Nantwich Shops Are Letting Well

Fifield Glyn report a further letting at No. 11 High Street, Nantwich To Polka Dot Travel on a 5 Year FRI Lease at £20,000 pa.

Oliver Buckingham at Fifield Glyn says “We are currently Negotiating a further three lettings and have enquiries from  both multiple retailers and individual traders.”
