On Friday 20th September 2019, Fifield Glyn took part in its third annual team building day at Escape Live in Birmingham along with a quiz followed by an enjoyable lunch at the Italian restaurant Cucina Rustica.

All 33 staff were put into teams and allotted an Escape Room with only 1 hour to get out!

The results were as follows:

• First Place: A blend of youth and experience, as our Barrie, Alison, Charlotte and Oliver from our Edgware and Cheshire offices, took the Gold, following their strong performances in both the Escape Room and Quiz.
• Second Place: Our Manchester Director Richard Smith was the odd man out as Monika, Laura, Rianna and Victoria took silver.
• Third Place: Our Edgware Director Edward Fifield, took the Bronze with Serene and Gregory of Edgware and Sally and Terry of Manchester.
• On the spot prize – award to Gillian Linke. 

 

 

Barrie Martin MBE has been a Consultant to Fifield Glyn since 2013, when we acquired Martin Russell Jones of which he was senior partner for many years.  Barrie originally qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1958, he specialises in Party Wall Act issues and is based at our Edgware office which looks after Residential property, with block and individual management at the heart of its day to day work. We act for Freeholders, Block Management Companies, Property Companies and Right To Manage. Barrie was awarded an MBE for services to Education in the 2014 New Year’s Honours List, as Chairman of Governors at Queen Elizabeth School in Barnet.

Fifield Glyn this year have given to charity in lieu of sending Christmas cards. The chosen charities are; The Neuromuscular Centre in Cheshire and The Good Neighbour Scheme. 

The Neuromusulcar Centre in Winsford, Cheshire provides physio, support and employment to people affected by neuromuscular conditions. The Good Neighbour Scheme in Barnet and Burnt Oak, provides company, support and friendship to those without friends and relatives close by.

Lastly, our Mayfair and Edgware offices have donated items to a local food bank instead of this year’s Secret Santa.

Fifield Glyn are delighted to announce Shreya Shah BA (Hons) has been promoted to Deputy Head of Residential Management.

Shreya based at the Edgware office, joined Fifield Glyn in May 2015 as a residential property manager and manages over 20 residential blocks and 10 individual prestige flats in London and the South East on a daily basis.

Shreya is currently studying to be a Chartered Surveyor and looks after a team of 10.
